More achievements = More confidence – Ep 4

Parenting Myths Busted –

In this weeks podcast, I dive in to the myth that more achievements = more confidence…

The more our children achieve, the more confident they will be.. right?

The more medals they win, the more confident they will be.

The more spelling tests they get 10/10 on, the more confident they will be….. Right?

No. Celebrating your child’s achievements won’t boost their confidence… In fact, focusing on your child’s achievements alone is more damaging for your child’s self-esteem in the long run.
