Age based programmes for children
“We are loving the modules, I feel I have learnt so much and already seeing differences in how I am parenting, which I feel is having a great impact on the kids already. Thank you Laura, we are feeling the positive benefits already.”

Our programme structure
myHappymind is taught across five modules and each introduces a new set of content and habits to help children build resilience, self-esteem and confidence:
Meet your brain
Understanding how your brain works and how to ensure we look after it so that we can manage our emotions and be at our best. Growth mindset is a key part of this too.
Understanding your unique character strengths and learning to celebrate them. This is a fantastic module for building self esteem.
Understanding why gratitude matters and how you can develop gratitude as a habit. Gratitude is key to wellbeing and resilience and we’re all about making it a habit!
Understanding why gratitude matters and how you can develop gratitude as a habit.
Understanding why positive relationships matter and how to build them. We’re focussed on the building blocks of good relationships and friendships.
Understanding how to set meaningful goals that matter and how to keep resilient in times of challenge. This module is all about building self esteem and resilience too.

Have some questions?
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about myHappymind.
We specialise in supporting families with children age 3 – 12 and we have different versions of the content for each age group.
All of our lessons are short and sweet, and usually between 10-15 minutes each. We recommend you do 1-2 lessons per week minimum. They can be easily slotted into your daily routine AND you can do them on the go as long as you have a WiFi connection. The habits that you will learn take between 2-5 minutes each to practice. So, if you really can’t find 30 minutes a week to spend on the program, it may well not be for you.
This is not a problem at all. The kids’ lessons are written in such a way that you can go into less or more detail depending on their age. Remember, you will learn a lot more detail in the Parent module than the kids will need and so you can scale up and down depending on the needs of everyone. We really believe the best approach is to do this as a family as this is the best way to embed the habits. We have families with kids ranging from 4 to 12 and they’ve made it work. You will have all the content for life when you purchase so there is lots of chance to recap, review and reiterate if you need to.
We have intentionally structured the program so that you go through the program first to build your knowledge and confidence. By the time you get to the kids’ lessons you’ll already have all of the knowledge you need to teach them. The kids’ lessons are structured in such a way that they are very simple and interactive so all of the content they need is in there and your role is to facilitate the conversation. We’ve tested the content on tens of thousands of children and we know it works.
The standard Families membership is for one year, though continued membership is also available.
We’re NHS backed!
We’re very proudly commissioned by the NHS. This means that the NHS pays for 100% of our programme in some schools — all because myHappymind has such a big impact on the children and staff and reduces CAMHS referrals significantly. Get in touch to learn more!
