Introducing myMindcoach - Our programme for Secondary Schools
Introducing myMindcoach: Empowering Young Minds
Mental health and well-being challenges can become more complex and pressing as children enter their teenage years. That’s why we created myMindcoach, a specialised programme designed to support young people aged 11-16 and empower them to navigate challenges with resilience, self-awareness, and confidence. Building on our award-winning myHappymind programme, which is now active in over 2000 schools, myMindcoach provides a continued preventative mental wellbeing education to secondary schools.
myMindcoach goes beyond traditional well-being programmes. With research-backed techniques and practical tools, it offers students the guidance they need to manage stress, build resilience, and set personal goals.
Developed with teachers and mental health professionals and endorsed by the NHS, myMindcoach is an invaluable resource for students and educators. It fosters a school culture where mental well-being is prioritised and nurtured.
Here's what myMindcoach brings to your school:
Skills for life:
Drawing on positive psychology and neuroscience, students gain essential skills to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Each module is crafted to equip them with coping strategies, improve focus, and nurture healthy relationships.
Easy to Implement, Powerful in Impact:
Our program seamlessly integrates into the school day. With resources designed for ease of use, teachers and staff can deliver each session confidently and effectively, with minimal preparation required.
Safe space for Exploration, enabled by our App:
myMindcoach offers a judgment-free environment where students feel supported in discussing and exploring their mental health. Through guided exercises and their own App that they can access anonymously, they learn to recognize and articulate their emotions, identify personal strengths, and make empowered choices.
Support for Teachers:
With myMindcoach, teachers also have access to a wealth of resources and training, giving them the confidence to support their students’ mental health journeys. Our approach helps reduce the reliance on SENCO support and minimizes referrals to external mental health services, creating a more resilient school community.
Investing in students’ mental health at this critical stage sets the foundation for lifelong well-being. With myMindcoach, we’re here to help you make a lasting impact, one step at a time.

Our programme structure
myMindcoach is taught across five modules and each introduces a new set of content and habits to help build resilience, self-esteem and confidence:

Celebrate
Understanding your unique character strengths and what makes you, well, you! We’ll explore character—what it really means, why it’s important, and how to figure out your own unique traits.
Appreciate
Understanding why gratitude matters and how you can develop gratitude as a habit. Gratitude is key to wellbeing and resilience and we’re all about making it a habit!

Relate
Understanding why positive relationships matter and how to build them. We’re focussed on the building blocks of good relationships and friendships.
