You are what you eat!

We’ve all heard this one, haven’t we? The idea that what we eat determines how our body changes and how we feel. So, we eat well, we feel good. We don’t eat well …..well, we all know how that one ends!

But the concept that we are what we tweet or, that our language affects how we feel is such an interesting one.

How does your language affect how you feel?

So, we came across a fascinating article in livehappy.com, one of our favourite online magazines. The article talks about some new research into the direct links between the language we use and the way that we feel. Not just mentally but also physically.

The research is fascinating and this is what we talk about in this week’s myHappyminc conversations – check it out in the video above.

What does this have to do with children?

Well, here is where it gets interesting. We always like to keep things actionable here at myHappymind so we talk about the power of language with children in this weeks episode above too. This week’s freebie guides you through some real examples of how you might want to re-frame some of the words that you use with your children – you definitely want to check it out!
